•　Phone in office difficult to get through
•　Late bulletins
•　Website not updated soon enough
•　Difficult to find volunteers
•　Lack of funds, staff and resources

Opportunities
•　Growing emphasis on environmental protection and education
•　Raise public image
•　Government support
•　Economic growth in China

Threats
•　Lack of government policy
•　Conservation exploited for making money
•　Property developers’ interest in wetlands
•　Deterioration in environment, leading to less birdwatching sites
•　Competition from other leisure activities

今天共有約四十名會員參加了集思會 ，
先由羅偉仁簡單介紹本會各方面的工作，
然後集體進行 SWOT （強項、弱項、機會及威脅）分析，
最後由張主席帶領討論本會未來的發展。

About 40 members participated in today's workshop.
We began with an introduction to the Society's work by Mr WY Lo.
This is followed by a SWOT (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats) analysis.
The workshop then finished with discussions on the Society's future development led by Chairman Dr. Cheung.
