Recording the location of ‘bird flocks’ - Ng Tung Chai

From Nov 08 to Jul 09, 54 bird flocks were recorded and marked during the surveys. 
4 were large size.
19 were median size
31 were small size.
Species composition is as follows:
28 were mixed species flock, the most dominant species in the mixed species flock was Japanese White-eye.
26 were single species flock, Chinese Bulbul and Japanese White-eye were the most accounted single bird flocks. Other single species flocks were Striated Yuhina, Grey-chinned Minivet, Chinese Bulbul, Red-whiskered Bulbul, Silver-eared Mesia and Red-billed Leiothrix, but not often counted.
