Great day at Mai Po.  

1 Asian Barred Owlet--Behind the visitor center.
1 Siberian Blue Robin--on the Rotary Trail near the three bat houses. (This is the third Siberian Blue Robin I have had this month.  Can I trade one for a Grey-headed Lapwing or Lanceolated Warbler?)
1 Wryneck--near the education center
1 nightjar species (probably Savannah)
1 Red-throated Flycatcher
1 Siberian Stonechat
3 Yellow Bittern--several different places
1 Osprey
5 Asian Dowitchers
~20 Bar-tailed Godwits
2 Eastern Crowned Warblers
4 Arctic Warbler

31 Oct 2010--Mai Po

Wasn't originally planning to go to Mai Po today but Mongolian Larks and Bean Geese tempted me. Neither of those today but still a nice day. Tide was bad at Mai Po and it probably would have been better to look for the geese from Tsim Bei Tsui.

1 Citrine Wagtail (these don't seem to show up much at Mai Po)
10 Eurasian Skylark (based on call I felt the majority were Eurasian but there could also be Oriental Skylark too mixed in I suppose)
