Real good birding begins with a pair of compatible binoculars. Few birds will allow you to come nearer
than three metres. Choose something among the following combinations: 7X40/42, 10X40/42 or 8/30 (the last least desirable).
Weight is also something to consider. You certainly will not carry something that brings you ache after
a day of birding.
