Why not use the structure already developed for Orientalbirdimages.com?

It takes between 2 and 4 clicks to reach an individual species. All Hong Kong species are covered and most people are already familiar with the system.

I think this is the Orientalbirdimages structure.

Is your gallery meant to be Hong Kong species only? If so, you can eliminate some of the species in the structure.

If East Asia/Oriental species, then the list is OK.

If World species, then it will not be complete (but that will make the gallery too big).
