Firstly, my apologizes for posting so many Black-crowned Night Heron shots, Neil threatened to have me banned from the Lamma Ferry if I posted any more. :shock:

But this is a special "full frame" shot for all those long lens DSLR uses especially John H. who carry all that "heavy" gear around.

Thanks for the comments, yes the noise is no longer a problem Shooting in RAW solved a lot of the noise problems and noise software the rest. Unfortunately my beta noise software strips away the EXIF data, so I may move to Neat Image suggested by Wing. I am still using Apples free iPhoto to import the RAW files and minimal tweaking in photoshop CS.

Regarding the "policeman" Neil, well I owe all my thanks to him for introducing Lamma spots to me and all his tutor work in digiscoping. It is now just 18 months since I first started in this new hobby
