Yesterday many birders and photographers visited this site to see the Brown Crake, Water Rail & Ruddy Crakes.
The farmer here is an organic farmer managing the site for th benefit of wildlife.
The land is private and he has the right to stop people going on his land, but kindly allowed many people to visit yesterday
Yesterday he asked the group of 20 or so not to tread on the vegetation, but one photographer left the path and trampled vegetation and was asked to leave.
Please would all visitors to this site respect the instructions of the farmer, or we may all be refused access to this site, which has had some very good birds (including Pheasant-tailed Jacana, Grey Phalarope and Black-faced Spoonbill in the last few months.
Many thanks
