The reflection, the wrinkles and the glassiness of the water surface are selling points of Shot #1, not to mention the beautiful moorhen at the centre stage. It seems to me that the moorhen didn't want to move an inch in order not to break the serenity of the environment. Just kidding. Probably, she was waiting for Wing's next move before she decided what to do to escape! What an awesome shot.
Nearly missed #2. It is equally good.
