I was thinking whether this bird was the one I've seen?
I was there on that day, following HKBWS activity. Two of us found a big-sized warbler around Pond #10/11. The watching time was very short and both of us had never seen that warbler before. By its size, we concluded to be either oriental reed warbler or a large grass warbler. Pity that we didn't photo it. We first thought it was a large grass warbler since the bird had a small crest on its head. But after knowing the habitat of large grass warbler and the usual raised naped feathers on nape of a juvenile oriental reed warbler, this bird should be the latter one (also no obvious streaks can be found on the body). You may refer to the birding record of that day posted in the forum too. This was my story.
Unsure about whether we have seen would be posted on the board on that day?
