On the Mai Po outing this coming Sunday, the idea is to show new members the common birds in Mai Po, and also that some waders, expecially the juvenile ones, that have arrived at Mai Po lately. Juvenile waders are not easly to identified, because they generally have duller colours. This would be good chance for wader watching class participants to start practising waders identification in autumn. I hope to see some of them helping the outing this Sunday.
By last Tuesday, I heard there is already over 20 participant registering for this Mai Po outing.
