The approach screen to the new floating bird watching hide is being upgraded in these few weeks. Our staff are erecting green panels along both sides, and also planting a row of mangroves alongside. In time, the mangroves should grow and become a natural barrier.
These works are required under the Environmental Permit issued by government for the new hide and boardwalk project. They are mitigation measures to reduce disturbance by visitors entering / leaving the hide.
