Yes, the best area for birding in TKO is the waterfront. If you are lucky, you may find large flocks of migrating cattle egret, one or two pacific reef heron, munias, and most common HK birds. Some Interesting birds include stonechat, pipits and shrikes found near the the grassy area next to the lohas park side of the fence, and there was a blue rock thrush recorded at the rocky area near the velodrome/oscar by the sea. Some special birds found there included resident collared crows. Hope this helps.
