唔多睇雀嘅老婆大人

點去?
咁問好難答! 當自駕，機場攞車直出108公路行一小時，沿路有牌指示去茵他儂國家公園。之後右轉行沿1009路行約9 km便到閘口。全程唔使2小時。最好用GPS。如果冇車牌，我諗要同酒店商量機場接送，或者查旅遊指南 Lonely Planet。

Mae Hiu Agricultural Centre同Doi Pui National Park係清邁市附近，可請tuk tuk去。半小時左右。Agr Centre地方頗大及少樹蔭，冇車有Ｄ煩，最好包tuk tuk。 Doi Pui 係要上山，不過係大路。記得第一個山係 Doi Suthep (超多遊客)，過咗Bhubing palace 轉窄路先係睇雀位的開始，最正應係山上checkpoint同最高露營地之間既樹林。依兩度地方可各留一個早上睇雀。

我都未問你睇雀位，做乜咁無禮貌自問自答! 咁茵他儂國家公園呢?
茵他儂好大，用腳行死得。大閘位係9km，山頂好似係46km。主要睇雀位係
山頂 、 Checkpoint 2 (37.5km) 、 34.5 km 小徑， campsite (太攰冇去)，衆多瀑布，仲有13 km小徑

講多D得唔得? (冇嚟醒目)
Inthanon National Park
山頂: 有高原濕地同樹林，有長約幾百米小徑 (Ang Ka Trail)。可睇到Dark-side Sibia, Chestnut-tailed Minla, Rufous-throated Partridge (空軍閘口隔籬白色小店露台向下望)，Green-tailed Sunbird, Ashy-throated Warbler, rufous-winged Fulvetta。注意山頂假日超多本地遊客。另早上溫度可低至六度。
  
Checkpoint 2 (37.5 jeep trail)
路邊開闊樹林: 一般林雀。注意thai birding網站講的jeeptrail已變成隱閉小徑(入口係過咗checkpoint 2上山方向右手邊防撞攔開始部份，泊車位對面)

34.5 km trail
路需短(來回應唔夠3-4公里)但超好雀。早上一兩小時可睇多過30種雀。頭1公里係樹林，之後係100m左右的人工松樹林，分岔路揀上斜行唔夠200m可看到開闊山野境觀。注意34.5 km trail入口係上山一個彎位的左手邊，司機位容易看漏。

Gaew Mae Pan trail (counter only)
此trail位於一個近山頂的大停車場 (42km左右，唔記得)。停車場有檔口食到烤腸仔及燒肉，仲有木瓜沙律。食完可行去停車場另一端的trail入口，green-tailed Sunbird 常到此處食花蜜，可坐定定影雀。行trail要收200baht，但係門口影相唔收錢。warden好好人，唔識英文但會指示sunbird位置。

Siriphum waterfall
有大瀑布同溪流，可一鏡三雀(望遠鏡)：紅尾水鴝，白頂溪鴝，及灰背燕尾。

13 km trail
條路有Ｄ爛，冇乜雀。但話可睇到Black-headed Woodpecker and White-rumped Falcon。我自己去過兩次，接近零收獲。適合爛打型觀鳥者。   

Inthanon Highland Resort
似花園，有一池塘，週邊有樹林。有D低地樹林雀

Blossom-headed Parakeet Roosting
距離Inthanon Highland Resort約 1km。有田野及樹林。有清晰指示到該處。場主(好客)搭了一個三層塔方便觀賞。除了parakeet 外，這裏可聽到Chinese Francolin，及看到疑似 Golden-crested Myna

Veranda Resort
花園加竹林同樹林，遺憾沒有通住後山小徑。可看到Tickell’s Blue Flycatcher, Black-naped Monarch, Racket-tailed Treepie。清早竹林可看到Scaly-breasted Partridge

住係邊?
香港定清邁呀? 茵他儂住係距國家公園大閘2km外的環境清幽嘅Inthanon Highland Resort，清邁就 Veranda Resort。Inthanon Highland Resort 每屋每晚 1500 baht (約$365，包早餐)，酒店會為早起雀友安排早餐。國家公園內有官方營運的住宿，網上報價都係1500baht。另一住宿係國家公園內的Mr Daeng B&B，住宿較簡便，但係睇雀佬聚腳地，有地圖派。

食呢?
茵他儂國家公園內有好多飲食地方，更有鄉村市集。山頂已有兩三間cafe，42km左右有大牌檔(D烤肉腸同燒肉超正!)，Mr Daeng及國家公園辦事處附近食肆 (31km) 亦可。午餐兩人300baht左右。晚餐兩人係Inthanon Highland Resort約500baht。

Mae Hiu Agricultural Centre同Doi Pui National Park太近市區，飲食自己諗。 順帶一提，Doi Pui 半山有好多食肆。

我用Northwheels，可機場借酒店還。細車1000baht一日 (約$250)。

茵他儂國家公園使唔使收$?
每人每天要200baht (約$50) ，另每車30baht。本地人平好多，我試過用英文講我愛泰國，話收平D，職員話唔得。住係國家公園不經大閘出入只收一天錢。另外兩度地方免費。

老老實實，有冇請guide，返到嚟又扮自己去?
冇呀阿sir，只係茵他儂酒店識到一團睇雀友，第二日行過”黐”咗幾種雀。其餘跟 thaibirding.com指示自己睇。

咁成程睇到乜?

1        Rufous-throated Partridge        紅喉山鷓鴣        Luckily, it was seen on three bird days. Both on the summit near the white small shop near the air force gate. Only the back at poor light condition was seen during the first time on the Ang Ka Trail (despite a lot of people). I got a good view at the second time at the shop near the air force gate. But too short to get photos. On day 3, 2 birds were seen and can take some photos although the light condition was poor

2        Scaly-breasted Partridge        綠腳山鷓鴣        1 bird around bamboo at Veranda Resort at around 730 am. Cannot see the bird clearly due to poor light condition and overgrown vegetation. Totally out of expectation. One birder (David) suggested it may be this bird when we discussed the detail on the next day.

3        Chinese Francolin        中華鷓鴣        Heard near the parakeet roosting site at Inthanon
4        Lesser Whistling Duck        栗樹鴨        Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai. The exact location is near Pt 6 shown in the thai birding webpage. Around 50 ducks
5        Little Grebe        小䴙䴘        2 to 3 birds. Far away. Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai.
6        Little Green Heron        綠鷺        Mae Klang Waterfall
7        Cattle Egret        牛背鷺        Recorded at Inthanon Highland Resort and Mae Hia Agr Centre
8        Chinese Pond Heron        池鷺        Recorded at Inthanon Highland Resort, Mae Hia Agr Centre, Veranda Resort
9        Amur Falcon        紅腳隼        2 birds. Saw one passby first when waiting for Green-tailed Sunbird at the counter of Trail. The second bird attacked the first bird.
10        Oriental Honey Buzzard        鳳頭蜂鷹        Quite common at Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai. At least 3 birds
11        Common Buzzard        普通鵟        One circulating with OH Buzzard at Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai.
12        Crested Goshawk        鳳頭鷹        Near Checkpt 2. This raptor scared a group of hair-crested Drongos, causing some disturbance and so drew my attention
13        Black Kite        黑鳶        It was seen during the lunch time at the small restaurant at the inter-section of the main road to Chiang Mai and the road to Inthanon
14        Rufous -billed Eagle (?)        棕翅鵟鷹        Frankly speaking, I cannot 100% confirm the id as the bird was seen for 2 secs. Very pale underpart
15        Common Moorhen        黑水雞        Seen together with Little Grebe and Lesser Whistling Duck at Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai.
16        Red-wattled Lapwing        肉垂麥雞        Mae Hia Agr Centre at Chiang Mai. Together with Cattle Egrets

42        Short-billed Minivet        短嘴山椒鳥        34.5 trail. A local bird guide said it was Scarlet but I doubt. When back to HK, a professional birder exam a photo taken by me and confirmed that it is Short-billed
43        Burmese Shrike        栗背伯勞         It roosted at shading areas of a pylon at Mae Hia Agr Centre near the mid-day.
44        Black Drongo        黑卷尾        Common at open areas near Inthanon Highland Resort
45        Bronzed Drongo        古銅色卷尾        34.5 trail. They like the open areas of the trail
46        Hair-crested Drongo        發冠卷尾        Common at Inthanon
47        Lesser Rachet-tailed Drongo        小盤尾        I saw twice at 34.5 trail. But only 3 to 4 secs each time. I did see the hanging tail feathers, but cannot get a better whole view. A local bird guide said it is unlikely to see this bird at that part of Inthanon

Too far away to get details. Also, forgot to take some photos. I did not see this bird before and so cannot confirm the id.

They charge 200b to go to the trail but taking photos there is free

After back to HK, a professional birder suggests it should be common rosefinch.
