The International Scientific Task Force on Avian Influenza has produced an 8-page brochure, "Avian Influenza and Wild Birds", aimed at the public on the state of scientific information about the spread of avian flu, particularly with regards to wild birds and wetland habitats.

The Task Force will be unveiling a new Web site on "Avian Influenza, Wildlife, and the Environment" (http://www.aiweb.info) at the 11th international Living Lakes Conference in Nanchang City, near the Poyang Lake Ramsar site, on 2 November 2006.
