Some more shots from today.
There were 5 separate visits over the course of an hour, which I assumed were the same bird as the perches & "bombing" the water were similar.
Strangely though... I left the hide a little later & went up to my house... was sitting on the patio relaxing with the dogs & noticed 3 of them low down in a Longan tree about 30' from me, & were watching me...... suddenly one flew straight at me & finally veered away about 10' from my face & went back to its perch... had I been spotted at the pond?, had there been more than one at the pond? had I intruded?..
