This Stork flew into the scrape (Ponds 16/17) at 17:10hrs.  It appears to have a datalogger - or similar device - on its right leg and a red plastic band near the "ankle" of its left leg. I could not make out any letters or numbers in the fading light.

Another photographer managed to photograph the code on the red colour ring as C71.

Upon checking with the China National Bird Banding Center, C71 was ringed on 28-Jun-2022 in Heilongjiang Hong River National Nature Reserve. A chick from one of their artificial nesting platform. This bird winters in Meizhou, Guangdong in winter 2022-23. The GPS tracker is still functioning well.
