I have read a post on Facebook with photos.
Such crime against nature has offended the following ordinance, hasn't it?
Cap 170 - WILD ANIMALS PROTECTION ORDINANCE
SECTION 5 - Protection of nests and eggs
No person shall, except in accordance with a special permit, take, remove, injure, destroy or wilfully disturb a
nest or egg of any protected wild animal.
(Amended 58 of 1980 s. 3; 77 of 1996 s. 4)
The birds are included in the list of animals listed in the Schedule: 2 PROTECTED WILD ANIMALS.
Is there anything that can be done? Law enforcement? Media? Patrolling?
