This Purple Heron was ringed by our team early this year at Pond 14 reedbed. It was aged as juvenile in our catch, so it is supposed an 2nd calendar year bird (or second winter bird) now. It was seen in Mai Po a few weeks ago. I am glad that it was seen again at MPNR. Hoping more sighting records to be received.
