This is definitely not a dusky thrush.
Do you have more photos and would you mind telling us the exact location you took this bird please?

I am just an inexperienced birder/ birdwatcher/ twitcher/ photographer with no long lens.

sorry that I haven't checked here for a long time … this might be the best pic though I'll check to see if there's anything better later . It's found at Yuen Tun some time before I posted that pic. there're 2~3 of them scattering on the open ground looking for food
