This bird was in our Sai Kung front garden area this afternoon - I picked it out on call and I believe it is a juvenile Scarlet minivet. We have had Scarlet minivets around the communal garden area quite a bit recently and if this is indeed a juvenile I assume they are breeding locally. I see them regularly between here and Wong Chuk Yeung if I walk up the hill from the house. I wasn't set up to photograph it so just grabbed my 400mm F5.6 and hoped. I thought this might be of interest as a breeding record.
