Swarovski have announced a new 95mm objective lens telescope, as well as specially-designed adaptor for digiscoping. They both look very good. The latter it is designed to allow DSLR cameras to be attached without removing the eyepiece. For birders who are not primarily photographers, this is great.

The announced prices for the 95 mm body and eyepiece are around HK$35,000 in the United States although scope is not yet available. Not sure whether prices will be comparable in the HK.

It's definitely an interesting product but there have not been too many comprehensive reviews of the performance.

Swarovski have supplied me with one of their first straight scope , an STX 95 with the TLS APO and DCB 11 adapter.
I've only been out with it one day (last Friday ) but the Imperial Eagle photo posted in the raptor forum was taken with it.  It performed very well in the rain.
I shot it with a Sony NEX 7, RX100, Nikon V1 and Panasonic GF1.
I was waiting for a sunny day to do some more testing with it.
