Thank you for keeping us informed of Hong Kong news.  But what the hell is this relating to birds? If you want to change your organisation to a political body please let us know first!

I would be interested to know how the funding application to carry out detailed design and site investigation for the advance site formation and engineering infrastructure works at Kwu Tung North (KTN) New Development Area (NDA) and Fanling North (FLN) NDA (the Advance Works), to enable construction of North East New Territories New Development Areas Study has anything relevant to conservation of birds.

Firstly, it is a territorial wide issue. So, hkbws forum viewers may interest to know what is happening in our contryside.

Secondly, there are at least three nesting colonies of egrets and herons are affected by the new NDAs and the 3rd runaway.

Thirdly, in nowadays modern society, just focusing on birds cannot save birds. A holistic approach should be taken.

Wcaptain, your personal view is noted.  By the way, runaway should read runway.
