Opening of Pond #15 淡水塘開放
位於教育中心外的#15號塘是一個富有生態價值的淡水塘，為依賴淡水為生的動植物提供合適的生境。在夏季，不少蜻蜓、蝴蝶和兩棲類動物都喜愛在淡水塘邊的植柀覓食和繁殖。
除了在教育中心的觀景台遠眺#15號淡水塘的景色外，訪客亦可以由2013年6月起，步進分隔#15a和#15b淡水塘之間的通道，欣賞夏日的淡水生境、動植物和景色。如欲查詢進一步資料，請聯絡米埔自然保護區辦公室，電話：2471-6212。
Pond #15, outside the Education Centre, is a freshwater pond with high ecological value and provide suitable habitats for freshwater dependent plants and animals after filling with rain water.
In summer, many dragonflies, butterflies and amphibians like to reproduce and live in vegetation surrounding the freshwater pond.
Besides viewing Pond #15 from the Education Centre, from June 2013, visitors can also walk along the path between Pond #15a and Pond #15b to enjoy wildlife and scenery. Should you have any enquiries please contact the Mai Po office on 2471-6212.
