Hi
Although this reply is a bit late, the below information might still be useful to our fellow bird watchers:-
This is a CD set consisting of 2 CDs plus 1 booklet (actually I should say 3 booklets if the explanatory pullout leaflet and booklet enclosed in the 2 CD boxes are counted also) produced in Taiwan. The 1st CD is known as "Songbirds" which consists of 9 pieces of music played with some musical instruments together with some live recordings of bird singing as the background sound. The 2nd CD is known as "Explanatory Birds Photo Handbook" (I would add the word "& Sound" after "
hoto") consists of 43 pieces of live recordings of bird singing plus vocal explanatory on 15 of the recordings. The accompanying pullout leaflet show photos and description of the releated bird species. The bonus leaflet is known as "The Story of Sun Qing-song" (a Taiwanese bird-watcher).
Although the bird song recordings relate to birds found in Taiwan's wetland, plains, mid to low elevations above sea level, I notice that some of the species can also be found in Hong Kong. It helps me to recognize some of the "mysterious" bird sounds which I heard during my field trips in Hong Kong for which I could not see the appearance of the relevant bird species.
