Yes, after I'd met you I went out to the new hide and waited for the tide to fall. All those records were from the new hide. The Bridled Tern was flying over the Tsim Bei Tsui side of the bay. I didn't realize it was the first record for Mai Po. I did, however, have a Bridled Tern at Long Valley on October 3, 1995 along with 300 White-winged Terns after a typhoon. Those were the days when Long Valley flooded easily and I remember that on that day most of the valley was like a lake.
