Left: Black, Yellow, Orange
Right: Yellow, Blue, Silver

An interesting record. This bird was ringed as a chick on 24th June this year, at the wetlands managed for MTRC West Rail at Kam Tin. This sighting is about 5.5km from the ringing site.

The starling flock (30+) is still present in the area. There are several ringed birds in the flock, and this is a good chance for anyone visiting Mai Po to observe one of these ringed birds.

I saw a few ringed birds this morning, but only managed the combination on one: (Right) Yellow/Red/Metal (Left) Yellow/White/Red. This bird was ringed at Lok Ma Chau on 12th June this year.
