I am thinking using original paintings of birds as the book cover in the 4 booklets that I am preparing. I prefer Chinese-style paintings. Any relevant species will do but preference will go to attractive species or endangered species that are important to China. For example, Green Peafowl is probably a good one for the booklet about pheasants in China. Here is a list of highly endangered species in China for the 4 booklets.

The size of the cover is about 12 x 18 cm. So any paint larger than 12 x 12 cm will do. We need to get your work (a scanned version such as a jpeg file) by December, so about 2.5 months left. Please spread the word. All of us work for this project as volunteer, successful entries will be rewarded with a complimentary copy.
