Could not attach photos stored in my computer. Have followed the instructions in the user guide.

Can anyone kindly help and give some advice?

如果是有可能需要在安全性上SETTING好
才可UPLOAD 相片於網站喔!

Please make sure that size of each photo doesn't exceed 100k; otherwise photo will be not be uploaded and displayed.

Are you using IE ?
Do you see the error message 'Invalid image file' after you have browsed and selected the image file from your computer?  I also see this message every time.  I would simply ignore it, pick 'ok' in the message box and then roll down the screen to find the 'Thread' button (or 'Edit' button for further upload of image files) and then press it.  The image would be uploaded successfully - one image each time.

I am still trying to find out how some birders can upload very large size (much larger than 200kb) image files.

I am also a beginner.
I tried the following method:  (there should be other better method)

1. upload photo to Flickr
2. In Flickr, view the photo and you have the option to share.
3. Click share button( an arrow icon) to obtain the html code
4. copy the whole html code to word or notepad
5. copy the part https://....................jpg
6. In HKBWS, start a new thread and click the image icon (the right hand side of email icon)
7. A long box appeared and paste the  https://.................jpg
8. appeared on your messge
9. DONE ( hope it works)



BTW, is there any Saunders’s Gull        黑嘴鷗 in the above photo?
