Hello, 九歪 C-Hing,
Are you using the new Sigma Sports lens?
In your opinions, what are the pros and cons in using this lens to take photos of birds?
Yes, I am using S120~300/2.8 Sports for about two years, I try here, to make my impression in using the lens below ~~~
Pros :
Producing very sharp and excellent images quality throughout the zoom range even using 2x Sigma new tele-converter (Sigma tele-converter TC-2001 seems better than Nikon TC-20E III in sharpness & contrast to me).
Auto-focusing very fast and acceptable focusing speed with 2x tele-converter, TC-2001.
Providing very good optical stabilization
Performing very good Bokeh.
Having well build body, as solid as a tank.
Offering very good price, good value for money.
Providing owner to update firmware, calibrate the lens and other customizations with USB Dock.
Cons :
It is very heavy, I can just make a very few shots with handheld, better using monopod at least.
It seems reluctant in focusing with 2x tele-converter upon back-lighted objects, I encounter the same situation with my Nikon 600/4.
