My wife and I are going to Palawan for two weeks beginning the end of December and I was just wondering if anyone has some knowledge they would be willing to share?  I'm hoping to connect with a local birder/guide for a couple of days while there.  I enjoy birding on my own, but a local expert who is familiar with the endemics would be outstanding.  

I would also like some recommendations on where to stay in Palawan.  Since we have two weeks we would like to check out a couple different towns /villages.
