Black-Crowned Night Heron

Three Black-Crowned Night Heron birds were seen together (within 10m) at the seashore. Will the following be a female or simply a juvenile? How can it be identified?



Its size was between the sizes of the following two. But it was definitely "much" larger than the juvenile.

Hi, it is an immature bird, I do not think we can id the sex of this bird.
