[Outing] 17/10/2010 蒲台及南面水域觀鳥活動 Po Toi and HK South Waters outing

According to HKO, the weather this coming Sunday will be mainly fine and dry, strong East wind (force 4 to 5), temperature 24-28 deg.  Last year's outing was particular poor on seabirds.  See whether we have better luck this time.

3. Red-throated Pipit
4. Arctic Warbler
Commmon Sandpiper is also on Po Toi.

Thanks.

Also, I heard Carman mentioned seeing Moorhen and Koel.

Oct 17 is probably an early date for Pallas's Warbler.  May I ask who the observer is and whether there is a photo record.  I believe we need to substantiate this claim.
