Reed and Bush Warblers

Reed and Bush Warblers

This is an excellent book that helps a lot on the field ID problem of Reed and Bush Warblers.  I recommend it strongly to advanced bird watchers.

Peter Kennerley had lived in HK and had been a member of HKBWS record committe for many year.  He left HK in the early 90's, and so most young birdwatchers do not know him in person.  He is the earlest batches of birdwatchers that travelled widely in Mainland China when China open up her doors to foreign watchers starting in 1980.  He wrote the first article that the world population of Black-faced Spoonbill was about 300 in the late 80's.  That sparked the Black-faced Spoonbill conservation actions in this part of the world.  He also helped educating the first batch of local birdwatchers in identifying waders in the 80's.
