About 40 joined the outing last Sunday, with more members taking the ferry on their own. Birds on Po Toi are quite interesting, including Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Blue and White Flycatcher and Dark-sided (Sooty) Flycatcher. One important things to note was that there were very few common birds. For example, there were no Crested Myna and few Bulbuls.
On the sea, it was quite rough and heavy rain at times. We record six species of Tern, including Greater Crested and Aleutian. However, Common Tern is a mis-id by me. These should be Roseate Terns. I apologise sincerely to participants.
