Looks like White-shouldered Starling to me
Please see <The birds of Hong Kong and South China> P.220
The body shape, color and color of iris for me go for the White-shouldered Starling.
Thanks

Thanks you for your information.

It's a juvenile White-shouldered Starling (a very young one - probably only a day  or two after leaving the nest). There are lots around Dee Bay at the moment.
The pinkish bill, blue eye, short tail and lack of white in the shoulder show this to be a juvenile rather than adult White-shouldered Starling, but the body colour and dark wings match the species still.

Thanks ajohn.
