I had a couple of nice days in New York and visited Jamaica Bay Wetlands and Breezy Point which is nearby at Rockaway Beach. Breezy point is a nesting place for American Oystercatchers, Piping Plovers, Common Terns and American Oystercatchers. At Jamaica Bay there were lots of nesting birds including Osprey and Tree Swallows.
There were still some waders present, including Yellowlegs,Sanderlings (breeding) , Willet,Least Sandpipers, Semi-Palmated Plovers, Ruddy Turnstones,Black-bellied Plovers. Neil.

Thanks KK.  It was wonderful seeing lot's of birds in good light and in some cases we were able to photograph from the car.
I've got trips planned to Korea (postponed from last month), Egypt,Sydney,India,Singapore and back to the US.
