Great pictures!  I think your kestrel is a lesser kestrel, it looks long winged, I can't see any barring/ dark marks on the rufous upper parts either.

I've not seen lesser kestrel myself- I was reading about them in BBC Wildlife magazine (Feb 2017) just recently which made me look at your bird more closely.  There is an extract of the article here:  https://reader.exacteditions.com/issues/54975/page/22?term=summer
