Nightjar ID

This afternoon I disturbed a nightjar sitting on the roof of my work building (in Tai Po). I didn't get a very good view, but as it flew away I definitely saw white wing patches. It made a few squawking sounds as it flew off. Would anyone like to hazard a guess as to what it was?
