Unsure plover

Taken yesterday.  My first thought was Lesser Sandplover.  Can anyone confirm?

Mai Po Nature Reserve,
Hong Kong,
China.

The concrete half collar and the distinct forehead diamond suggests kentish plover - note though the legs are completely coated with mud and the black legs are obscured!
