looks like wood sandpiper to me, but the plumage is a bit strange, where are the dots? The taiwanese got a similar looking bird earlier in autumn too... perhaps hybrid?

It depends how big it is, but how about Long-toed Stint? Long pale legs, long toes and a pale base to the lower mandible.
