I think it's a Plaintive Cuckoo. There is a hint of grey head and orange breast in the first few photos, and the bill and tail shape both fit. =)

By the way, you won't see the beautiful red eyes of the Cuckoo-Shrike unless it faces you, is really close, and is in very good light.

My wrong, actually I think Plaintive would show a much shorter bill than this, and the tail should be graduated, not square-tipped. I should have realized that colors are more tricky than the shape..XD

I think I'll go with Fai Gor on this one - Blackbird - esp. considering the photo of bird with fine throat streaks! The greyness of the bird may be due to back-lighting. I admit I haven't seen such a light individual on photo, but some Blackbirds are simply not black, so any alteration in viewing conditions may give different impressions.

(Don't think it can be Drongo Cuckoo - it is black and the tail is more triangular)
