The highest mountain in Hong Kong (around 1,000m). This is the best area for Hong Kong's few specialist montane species. Habitats consist of shrubland and grassland. From the mountain top on a clear day you might enjoy good views of the Kam Tin Valley and the Deep Bay area.

Transportation: |
Bus number 51 goes from MTR Tsuen Wan station to Kam Tin. Get off at the sign marking the entrance to Tai Mo Shan Country Park. The best way is to get a taxi up to the gate near the top of the mountain, then walk up and down f the concrete road. |
