There was no blood or other bird parts. (I did not touch the feathers!) The feathers were all of a medium grey colour. Most of them had white or cream colour on the very tip or a little bit along one edge. The longest feathers were about as long as my index finger. Would anyone like to guess what bird they may have come from?   I would also like to say thank-you to the person I met with the video camera for the interesting conversation and the book recommendations.
