Was flying around a tree making a terrible squaking sound & thought at first it was carrying nesting material, but then on closer inspection is a chain on its leg - eventually settled in the tree.
Is a parrot of some kind - anybody know which?
Is white all over.

Guy,

I saw a sulphur crested parrot at Pak Kok San Tsuen about a month ago, it was making a similiar sound. I couldn't see any chain as it was perched high on a dead tree in the middle of a field.

Try talking to it, since its been in captivity, it may fly down to you.

I noticed it was squarking at all the other birds.

Be careful though, knowing Lamma "Birds" it may swear at you
