Tai Po Kau outing 5/12/04 大埔滘觀鳥活動報告

Dear members,
There were about 20 members joined the Tai Po Kau outing on 5 December. The weather was fine and temperature was chilly but comfortable. Although there were at least more than a hundred of other hikers, We were very lucky to see the Slaty-backed Forktail on picnic area #1 stream. From picnic #1 and picnic #2, we manage to record 29 species.

1 Grey-headed Flycatcher x1
19) Rufous-capped Babbler x5+
20) Blue-winged Minla
21) Pygmy Wren Babbler x1 heard
22) Great Tit x4+
23) Velvet-fronted Nuthatch x6+
24) Forktial Sunbird x3
25) Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker x1 (female)
26) Japanese White-eye
