The place for watching tancho is Trumidai(鶴見台）、Tanchonosato（丹頂の里） Ito Tancho Sanctuary（伊藤丹頂sanctuary) You can find sleeping Tancho with one leg at Otowa Bridge(音羽橋） Tancho dance (求愛Dance）is usually start from mid February to early March.   Temperature is about minus 10 in the lowest, plus 7 in the highest.   But, it is very difficult to see White tail Eagle in Nemuro in March. Because it is very warm winter this year, Lake Furen's ice would start to melt   in the end of this month. 　In the coldest season, there is fisherman's fishing on Lake Furen(making hole in the ice) at that time, many eagles gather for their fishes to catch."
