今天 (27/2/05) 共有四十多人參加米埔觀鳥活動，共錄得六十多種雀鳥：
Over 40 participated in today’s (27/2/05) outing to Mai Po. More than 60 species were recorded:

早上天氣欠佳，十時許還下起雨來，眾人只好到教育中心暫避，卻在鴨池裡找到少 見的花臉鴨。
It was a cool and cloudy morning and it rained at around 10:00, so we waited at the Education Center for a while, playing hide-and-seek with the Baikal Teal at the Duck Pond.
十一時多出到浮橋，潮汐預報說正午十二時潮水漲至二米，預期鳥不會太近，怎料水卻漲至觀鳥屋，連十五隻卷羽鵜鶘也少有的游得很近，令人喜出望外！
We were out at the boardwalk by around 11:00. Despite the 2m tide forecast at noon, the water came in as far as the bird hides. 15 Dalmatian Pelicans were surprisingly close.
觀鳥屋內外都一樣熱鬧。
It was busy both inside and outside of the hide.
之後在１號觀鳥屋見到一群百多隻的黑臉琵鷺，還有一隻白琵鷺（在堤上和大白鷺、蒼鷺一起）。
Over 100 BFSB were seen at Bird Hide 1, plus a European Spoonbill (on the bund beside the Great Egret and the Grey Heron).
約下午三時回到教育中心，意猶未盡，臨走前又要再看看花臉鴨。
We returned to the Education Center at around 3:00 p.m., took a last look at the Baikal Teal before leaving.
