After a braek birding at Ng Tung Chai was quiet this morning, with a couple of highlights:

Chinese Goshawk - 2 birds seen above the temple arch
Crested Serpent Eagle - 1

Pygmy Wren Babbler - 1 singing
Mountain Tailorbird - 1 singing
Hainan Blue Flycatcher - 2 singing

Yellow-browed Warbler - 1 singing

in addition, Hodgson's Hawk Cuckoo was heard calling briefly on Good Friday evening and a Hair-crested Drongo has been seen 2 or 3 times below the village.

Interestingly I had three Dollarbirds flying high over the river near the Golden Triangle in the Lam Tsuen Valley on Sunday April 30th. They were flying in the general direction of Ng Tung Chai.
