Looks fun ah. what kind of permit do I need to apply for?
just kidding..
Really annoying ah. We try our best to keep silent not to make any noise that we don't want to scare any bird.. BUT... someone just Slide in front of you freely. Surely I can feel that she feel shock but not becoz she see someone inside the hut, it's just becoz my face look so bad at that moment.

I am sure that somebody from either AFCD or WWF will respond to you with the phone numbers to call, if you see these illegal immigrants catching mudskippers again.
I beleive the telephone number of the AFCD Warden Post at Mai Po is 24714411. The Lok Ma Chau Police Report Room telephone number is 26683123

The lady mudskipper collector came out to work when most of birders had left the floating hides. She put bamboo traps along the edges the mangroves.

The man came out from the left hand-side of the HKBWS hide, went back after a few minutes.

I believe they don't know the Mai Po Nature Reserve is reopened.

There was a guy collecting mudskippers outside the hides in Deep Bay on Tuesday morning this week. He came by just below the window level, about 5 meters away at around 10.00am . Neil.

I would like to remind all users of the floating bird watching hides that there is a notice and recording notebook inside each hide (on the back wall) regarding illegal activities on the mudflats.
The notice provides correct telephone numbers to call if you wish to report an incidence. Please record anything illegal in the provided notebooks so that we can begin to quantify these activities.
