On public holidays up to 60 tourist boats can be operating in the same waters. Some boats even chased the dolphins at high speed, disregarding the code of conduct. A study found that when approached by boats, the diving time of the dolphins has increased from 1 to 2 minutes to 6 minutes. AFCD will monitor the situation by strengthening patrols during the coming peak season.
